Episode 15 - Chocolate Truffles


250gr dessicated coconut

400gr digestive biscuits

1 can condensed milk

1 can condensed caramel

4tbsp cacao powder

Chocolate sprinkles  


Break the biscuits using a mixer or crush the with your hands.

Make sure there are no big pieces left.

Put them in a bowl and add 200gr of the desiccated coconut, the condensed milk, the caramel and the cacao.

Mix them well using a spoon and when it gets sticky enough, keeping mixing them with your hands until all the ingredients are well blended.

Pour the rest of the desiccated coconut onto a tray or a dish and the chocolate sprinkles on another.

Wet your hands, roll the truffles between your palms and then roll them in the chocolate sprinkles or the coconut until they get evenly coated.

Repeat this until the mixture is finished and put them in the fridge for 3-4 hours.


You can use cacao powder or icing sugar for their coating as well. You can skip the condensed caramel and use another can of condensed milk instead.
