250gr butter or margarine

100gr icing sugar

200gr cooking dark chocolate

5 tbsp brandy

5 tbsp cacao

250gr malted milk biscuits

Nonstick baking paper

In a saucepan melt the butter or the margarine, in low temperature and follow by adding the chocolate in small pieces. Stir using a whisk and make sure it's not boiling.

After the chocolate is nicely melted, add the icing sugar and the cacao and stir until you get a smooth mixture.

Remove from the heat and add the biscuits in big pieces.

Add the brandy and stir the mixture until the biscuits are well covered with the chocolate. Leave it for a while to cool down.

Spread the mixture on a piece of non stick baking paper and form a thick roll.

Place in the freezer for 3-4 hours.

You can add to the mixture 100gr of nuts if you like. If you don't want to use Brandy, alternatively you could use Grand Marnier or any other liqueur.
